Reviewing Leveling Results

Once PSOP finishes leveling the PSOP window displays the results:

The results window is split into three tabs, the Compare Usage Profiles tab, the Compare Start Times tab, and the Compare Overload tab. At the bottom of the window are two buttons. Clicking Back will allow you to change the leveling options and run PSOP again. Clicking Export to Primavera will export the PSOP schedule into Primavera.

The usage profile plots, summary table, start times table, and overload comparison table may be saved and printed by using the Save and Print buttons on the upper right corner of the window. The start times, summary, and overload comparison tables can be saved in comma separated values format which can be easily imported into spread sheet software such as Microsoft Excel.

Note that PSOP must invoke the P3e scheduler which changes the scheduled dates in the database. The schedule shown graphically (the Original Schedule) is the schedule that existed when PSOP was started, not the one that results from invoking the P3e scheduler. This allows you to compare the PSOP schedule to any schedule you like, including schedules created with the P3e leveler or created manually. In the example shown above the Original Schedule is the one produced by the P3e leveler run with the default options.

In the summary table, all three schedules are compared: the schedule that existed when PSOP was started (Original Schedule), the schedule that results from invoking the P3e scheduler (Early Start Schedule), and PSOP's schedule.

Level of Effort activities are not included in the results though they will be correctly scheduled when the PSOP schedule is exported to P3e. Completed work is also not included in the results.
